The war in Iraq is NOT ending.
For those of you who only get your news from the state media, the only reason Obama is pulling the troops out is because the Iraqi government refused his demands to grant the soldiers immunity for the crimes they commit. One can only imagine the unreported atrocities being committed against civilians if the US government decided it wasn’t worth having troops there without immunity.
Incidentally, the troops will be replaced next month with 5,000 Blackwater mercenaries, AKA more expensive soldiers.
So then where does this information come from?

Everybody dies. I almost don’t want to love anyone because it is so hard to let them go. It’s not rational. Love hurts, but we do it anyway. Why? Is it worth it? I wish I really felt like it was worth it. Maybe I don’t know what real love is.
I believe in the unseeable things. I believe that You’re there, but You’re also with me.
11/10/11
We are both thinking of each other today. It was the worst day so far for me. I had been doing so well. I didn’t completely give in, but yeah, it was pretty bad. I turned to food and sleep and memories of you when I should have turned to God, His word, His beautiful daughters He’s given me as friends. But I didn’t. I isolated myself and gave into the harmful habits that perpetuate my sadness. Seeking comfort where none can be found. Aside from Him there is nothing.
Some days I just want to read some Christian books with the Bible and then have a good journalling/crying session then sleep it off and repeat that until I get hungry and that is all I want to do and I don’t want anyone to ask any questions.
Joy will come to me one day.
Good morning sunshine!

But you act as if all of those words are synonymous for “girl” when they’re not…
Or don’t. It doesn’t really matter…lol.

As looters and rioters smashed up shops, looted and fought with police in Camden Town, Philippa Morgan-Walker, 25 and her husband, Jonny Walker, 31, made tea for the police who were protecting their street. Some of the officers had been on duty for more than 30 hours.
